The story of Brian and I

Brian is my boyfriend and the father of Ashlynn. We have been together since March of 2007 but the real story is much more than that! Back in 1982, our parents lived in the same apartment complex down in Southern California. They were great friends and both pregnant! I was born 3 months before Brian but we were together from the beginning. When my mom went back to work, Brian's mother babysat me and Brian and I grew up together until we were 6 years old. Then their family moved up to Northern California and we all lost touch for 19 years. December of 2006, I was browsing around on myspace and decided to type in his name just for fun never thinking I would find him. Low and behold, a profile came up with his age and location! I looked at his picture but only could remember the way he looked as a child in pictures. The only thing that stood out to me was those same deep, ocean blue eyes he had back then! I called my mom to have her look it up too just to have a second opinion. I hadn't seen him since he was 6 years old so I wasn't sure! She definately thought he looked like his mom so I wrote him! It WAS him! I was so excited! He had even remembered me as well! His parents and my parents were very excited and shocked that we had found eachother after all these years! We've been together again ever since and now have started a family together! He is a wonderful step-father to my eldest daughter and she loves him too! It definitely was fate in my opinion! It's not everyday you find your childhood sweetheart!

Playdates!

I just met up with one of the girls I was in Lamaze class with when we were pregnant. We hadn't seen eachother since the class and really hadn't met eachother's new babies yet! It was great seeing her and the babies absolutely loved seeing eachother! They couldn't stop smiling! Especially her little boy! It was the cutest thing! I really enjoyed getting to know her better. It's always wonderful to make new friends!! Friends are an absolute blessing! It looks as though the kids are going to be the best of friends too! :)

I miss you!!!

My oldest daughter Jaelynn is visiting her dad and his family right now. I miss her terribly! She really loves to go see them so it makes me feel a little better. She's coming home soon and that's all that matters!! I talk to her just about everyday and it helps me get through the last week or so that she's there. I have a bunch planned for her homecoming! Another Christmas, in February, the Zoo this summer, and so much more! I love her to pieces. She and her sister are the lights of my life! I am blessed to have her as a daughter!

My Introduction

Hello, my name is Quintina Lynn but I go by Quin. My daughters are Ashlynn and Jaelynn, hence the blog title "The Lynn Chronicles." My cousin actually came up with that blog title and it kinda stuck! :) I love to write and it's been so long since I've written! I wanted to be a children's author as a child but never went through with it. Who knows, maybe I can still pursue it. My real passion is for nursing and photography. I love to help people and LOVE to take pictures! I added a few of my pictures to this introduction. :) The two adorable girls you see are my absolute everything! My daughters! I'd like to begin this blogging experience now and hope that you'll enjoy the silly, fun, sad, and happy stories I share. Have a wonderful day!
